Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery
Approved by govt of Karnataka state diploma in nursing education board, recognised by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi and Karnataka Nursing Council, Bengaluru.
The GNM diploma is a course spanning 3 years with an integrated supervised internship for 6 months. During these 3 years, students will be exposed to a litany of subjects in the fields of behavioural sciences, bio-sciences, languages, Community health nursing and so on.
Eligibility criteria:
1. Pass in PUC or 12th (10+2) with 40% marks with any group recognised by the Karnataka State Nursing Council. however , specialisation of science is preferable. If the student belongs to the SC/ST category they will be granted 5% relaxation.
2. A candidate is also eligible from State open school recognised by State government or National Institute of Open School recognised by Central government.
3. Registered ANM with no age limit.
